Quick update: Sulfur from GIT

Here you can see some snapshots of Sulfur from GIT (master branch, our Entropy development repository). You should notice the refreshed & simplified UI (especially in non-Advanced mode — shots 2 and 3). The old search bar has been replaced with a shiny modern live filter bar. Other annoyances have been fixed too. The “System Files” tab automatically hides if there’s nothing to show, also.

More to come…

I had to create an account with word press to comment. Not cool.

From what I see in the snapshots the “improvements” are going to make it even more difficult to find packages. Now, not only are the categories missing, the ability to do a text search is gone as well.

huh?!?! It seems that you actually didn’t understand anything. Because if you did, you would have realized that all you wrote is simply incorrect.

I’d like to be able to see the current version of package installed as well as new version of updatable packages (also, some comment about why the package is being updated would be nice).

Also, but I think it has nothing to do with sulfur, but the whole packaging system instead, I think it would be nice to be able to revert latest set of updates to previous state if something goes wrong.
